LONDON, ON – On Friday, July 16, 2021, the Oakridge COVID-19 Assessment Centre at 825 Valletta St. will shut down permanently. Many employees will move to Mass Vaccination Centres or to Carling Assessment Centre to support vaccination and testing in our community.
We would like to express our deep gratitude and appreciation to the entire staff team at Oakridge (past and present) for the dedication and caring they have provided our community during a global pandemic.
We are also sincerely grateful to the Oakridge community, especially the neighbourhoods surrounding the Centre, for their patience during the last 16 months.
We want to acknowledge the partnership between the City of London, London Health Sciences Centre, Middlesex-London Health Unit, Middlesex-London Paramedic Services and Thames Valley Family Health Team. This collaboration has provided an incredible service to our community.
Starting July 17, 2021, COVID-19 testing will be available at the following locations:
- Carling Assessment Centre at 656 Elizabeth St., London.
Note: Starting July 17, NEW hours of operation are Monday to Sunday, 9:15-6:30 pm.
Appointments can be booked anytime online at www.covidtestinglm.ca; phone appointment booking is available by calling 519-685-8500, ext. 75503, Monday-Friday, 9:00 am-5:00 pm. - MyHealth Testing Centre at 279 Wharncliffe Rd. N., Suite 024.

- Some family physician offices– please check with your family physician.
We ask that the general public book their COVID-19 testing appointments online as much as possible. Questions can also be directed to the Carling Assessment Centre through www.covidtestinglm.ca.
The Carling Assessment Centre and MyHealth Testing Centre will only test those who fall within the Ontario provincial guidelines (https://covid-19.ontario.ca/covid-19-test-and-testing-location-information).
