London COVID-19 Assessment Centres Holiday Hours December 25 to January 3

Effective Friday, December 25, London COVID-19 Assessment Centres are temporarily adjusting operating hours to accommodate the holidays and ensure they can meet the testing needs of the community.

Carling Assessment Centre

Starting December 25, Carling Assessment Centre will be operating with reduced hours:

  • Friday, December 25 – hours of operation are 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm
  • December 26 to January 3 inclusive – hours of operation are 11:00 am to 7:00 pm

The Centre will resume regular hours on Monday, January 4. Appointments can be booked online at our Online Booking page.

There will be limited telephone booking available between December 26 and January 3 for people with accessibility issues or who do not have access to the internet. Individuals can call 519-685-8500, ext. 75503 and leave a voicemail with their name, phone number and reason for test. They will be called back as soon as possible. Individuals can also attend the Carling Assessment Centre in person for booking and results support.

Oakridge Assessment Centre

Oakridge Assessment Centre will be closed from December 25, 2020 until January 3, 2021. The Centre will re-open on Monday, January 4. Phone lines will also be closed.

We ask that the general public book their COVID-19 testing appointments online as much as possible. Questions can also be directed to the Assessment Centres through our Contact Form.

Both Assessment Centres will only test those who fall within the Ontario provincial guidelines. This includes individuals who:

  • Are showing COVID-19 symptoms.
  • Have been exposed to a confirmed case of the virus, as informed by Middlesex-London Health Unit or exposure notification through the COVID Alert app; or
  • Live or work in a setting that has a COVID-19 outbreak, as identified and informed by Middlesex-London Health Unit; or
  • Have no symptoms and require a test as an essential health worker, for Long Term Care visits, a medical procedure, cancer treatment, or;
  • Are eligible for testing as part of a targeted testing initiative by the Ministry of Health
